New gas station located on the AP-7, Km 117, direction Tarragona

HAM Group inaugurates a new EDUX Liquefied Natural Gas and Compressed Natural Gas service station in Llinars del Vallès, located in the Montseny Service Area, AP-7, Km117, towards Tarragona. The AP-7, also known as the Mediterranean Highway, is a fundamental axis for the transit of transport fleets, connecting the Spanish Mediterranean coast from the border with France to Guadiaro, Cádiz. This new HAM EDUX service station offers our customers an LNG dispenser (2 hoses), which allows refueling of trucks and heavy vehicles, and a CNG dispenser (one hose), for passenger cars, light vehicles and trucks.

The gas station, which is managed remotely to guarantee its operation and quick resolution of incidents, has 24/365 hours and allows refueling with any credit card, debit card and the HAM Card for professional use.

With the opening of Service Area HAM EDUX Montseny LNG – CNG, HAM Group reinforces its commitment to sustainable mobility with NGV, a real, safe and clean alternative for the decarbonization of transport and mobility in general, mitigating the greenhouse effect on the environment.

Currently, HAM Group has an extensive network made up of more than 130 LNG – CNG and Biomethane service stations, available on the main transport routes in Spain and the rest of Europe.

Gas station located on the AP-7, Km 165, direction Tarragona

HAM Group inaugurates a new EDUX Liquefied Natural Gas and Compressed Natural Gas service station in Castellbisbal, located at Porta de Barcelona, AP-7, Km165, towards Tarragona. The AP-7, also known as the Mediterranean Highway, is an important axis for the transit of transport fleets, connecting the Spanish Mediterranean coast from La Jonquera to Cádiz. This new HAM EDUX service station offers our customers a CNG dispenser (one hose), for refueling passenger cars, light vehicles and trucks, and an LNG dispenser (2 hoses), for trucks and heavy vehicles. Refueling can be done with any credit card, debit card or our HAM Card for professional use.

The gas station, managed remotely to guarantee its correct operation, has 24/365 hours and makes available to our customers, as in the rest of our service stations, a 24-hour technical assistance telephone service for the rapid resolution of incidents.

HAM Edux Porta de Barcelona LNG – CNG is an innovative mobile and transportable LNG – CNG service station, which is installed and commissioned in less than 24 hours. This EDUX service station joins HAM EDUX Sagunto GNL – CNG, HAM EDUX Borriana GNL – GNC, HAM EDUX San Antonio GNC Alicante, HAM EDUX Service Area Baix Ebre LNG - CNG, HAM EDUX Hospitalet de l'Infant LNG - CNG and HAM EDUX Porto di la Spezia LNG - CNG.

HAM Group, with a network of more than 140 LNG – CNG and Biomethane service stations, on the main transport routes in Spain and the rest of Europe, continues to support NGV, a real and ecological alternative that allows decarbonizing transport and mobility in general, helping to mitigate the greenhouse effect on the environment.

HAM Group opens in Chauchina, Granada, a Liquefied Natural Gas service station, located on the A-92, Exit 225, Km. 25, next to the A-92, Andalusian regional highway, which connects the cities of Seville and Almería (GPS: 37.195984, -3.802733)

HAM has installed a mobile unit in Granada that has 1 dispenser, with an LNG hose for trucks and heavy vehicles, with 24/7/365 hours, where you can refuel quickly and safely with any credit or debit card or with the HAM Card for professional use, only for companies and freelancers.

The LNG service station is monitored remotely to guarantee its operation and the rapid resolution of incidents, making a 24-hour Technical Assistance telephone number available to our customers.

With the new opening of HAM Granada GNL, we already have a wide network made up of more than 120 LNG - CNG service stations, on the main transport routes in Spain and the rest of Europe.

HAM continues to expand and renew its fleet

HAM Group and Transportes HAM have acquired 50 new Volvo tractor units powered by LNG. This is the Volvo FH model with 460 HP and 500 HP with the latest driving assistance safety elements, of which it has received 25 and expects to receive the rest during the next year.

Transportes HAM, the first European company to opt for liquefied natural gas as a vehicle fuel, is a leader in the road transport sector for cryogenic and flammable products, offering a service based on the highest demands and guaranteeing the highest level of efficiency and security.

Its fleet complies with all regulations and is continually renewed, with safer and more efficient vehicles, driven by professionals who take annual driving courses that help us reduce accidents, high consumption and high emissions.In response to this company policy, HAM Group and Transportes HAM have acquired these 50 Volvo Trucks units, since their performance, innovation and quality are aligned with the values and objectives of the group.

Technical information

These LNG-powered trucks offer the same performance and drivability as their diesel models. They can be used in regional and long-haul heavy transport operations. With the new 225 Kg tank and the new 500 HP engine, autonomy is increased by between 10%-14%.
To maximize driving range, the tanks are filled with LNG, which is stored at a pressure of 4–10 bar and a temperature of -140 to -125 °C.
Thanks to the technical solution devised by Volvo Trucks for liquefied natural gas trucks, Volvo uses “the diesel cycle” to have greater performance.

HAM Group opens a Compressed Natural Gas service station in Alicante, located on the AP-7 Kilometer 613.2, northbound, also known as the Mediterranean highway, which connects the entire Mediterranean coast of the Spanish state. (GPS: 38.792193, 0.062638)

HAM has installed one of its new EDUX service stations in Alicante, developed by HAM Criogénica, which has 1 dispenser, with two hoses, which allows CNG to be refueled quickly and safely in passenger cars, light vehicles and trucks.

The gas station has a payment terminal where our customers can make payments with any credit or debit card or with the HAM Card for professional use, only for companies and freelancers.

The new CNG service station in Alicante is open 24 hours a day throughout the year and is remotely monitored to guarantee its operation and the rapid resolution of any incident that may occur. HAM makes a 24-hour Technical Assistance phone available to its customers, where our technicians will assist you to resolve any refueling problem.

With this new opening, HAM has already installed 3 EDUX service stations, after the openings of HAM EDUX Sagunto CNC-LNG and HAM EDUX La Plana Service Area CNG - LNG. We continue to bet on Natural Gas for Vehicles, as a sustainable and real alternative to fossil fuels, reducing polluting emissions and respecting the environment.

The Gas Station is located on the AP-7, northbound

HAM Group inaugurates a new EDUX Compressed Natural Gas and Liquefied Natural Gas service station in the La Plana Nord service area, located in Borriana, Castellón. The new gas station is located on the AP-7 Kilometer 455, northbound, also known as the Mediterranean highway, axis that connects the entire Spanish Mediterranean coast from the border with France to Guadiaro, province of Cádiz. HAM Borriana CNG – LGN has been designed and built by HAM Criogénica, making available to our clients 2 LNG dispensers for heavy vehicles and trucks, and 1 CNG dispenser for cars, light vehicles and trucks.

The selection of fuel and payments can be made independently at each of the pumps, using any debit or credit card or the HAM Card for professional use, only for companies and the self-employed.
The EDUX service station has been equipped with CCTV and automatic extinguishing to guarantee the safety of our customers.

HAM Borriana CNG – LNG is open 24 hours a day throughout the year and has a 24-hour Technical Assistance telephone number to resolve any problem as quickly as possible. In addition, the service station is monitored remotely to guarantee its perfect operation and a quick resolution of incidents.

With this new opening, we remain committed to Natural Gas for Vehicles, a real alternative to traditional fuels, which allows us to reduce polluting emissions.

The works will be carried out through HAM Chile and FNX Liquid Natural Gas

HAM Group and CycleØ have been awarded the contract for the construction and operation of the first BIoLNG plant in Chile, which will be located in the Ñuble region, with a capacity to process between 7,500 and 16,500 m3 of biogas per day. This represents reducing, in the heavy transport industry, more than 19,000 tons of CO2 per year, 96% of fine particle emissions and 85% of nitrogen oxide and sulfur emissions, compared to other fuels.

This BioLNG plant will be possible thanks to the commitment of Lipigas, a relevant player in the Latin American energy market, for an efficient and 100% renewable energy solution. The biogas comes from an anaerobic co-digestion plant for waste from a MaxAgro pig farm, where HAM Chile Spa will build and manage the processing facilities, which will have upgrading equipment, developed by FNX Liquid Natural Gas, which will purify the biogas, which contains 50-60% methane, increasing its quality and obtaining a methane purity of over 99%.

At Grupo HAM and CycleØ we believe that BioLNG must play a prominent role in the energy transition, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, thanks to its negative carbon footprint. In addition, the commitment to this fuel favors the circular economy, generating employment in rural areas, returning resources and nutrients to the soil, and as a sustainable alternative to incineration or landfills.

This project reinforces the commitment of our companies to Biogas, which has led us to develop several projects related to BioLNG and BioCNG, such as those in Girona – Spain, where we have opened the first 100% vehicular biomethane plant in the country, or the of Faenza – Italy, where we are going to put into service one of the largest European BIoLNG plants.
