HAM Group supplies LNG to Volvo gas power trucks

Volvo selects HAM mobile unit to supply LNG during Test&Drive event

HAM Group was selected by Volvo Trucks to provide a mobile liquefied natural gas (LNG) unit to power its Volvo Gas Power trucks during the latest Test & Drive event that took place in Hellered (Sweden) in April and May, near from the truck manufacturer’s Gothenburg facilities.

The HAM mobile unit has a capacity of 30m3 and meets the requirements for filling Volvo trucks. This operation is carried out using a single supply hose that alternates the LNG filling operations as well as the depressurization of the boil-off generated. An average of ten trucks per day were supplied following the HAM philosophy, in an easy, practical and safe way for drivers.

It should be noted that the HAM Group also supplied the mobile liquefied natural gas LNG unit during the Volvo Test & Drive event, which took place in Castellolí – Barcelona in the months of October and November 2017, which also served to reinforce confidence of Volvo in HAM in carrying out vehicular natural gas (NGV) supply operations.

Currently, the HAM mobile station has been moved to another point in Spain to continue supplying liquefied natural gas LNG and compressed natural gas CNG.
