Inauguration of the first LNG station in Campania, Italy
The station has the first double hose LNG dispenser in Europe
HAM Italia and C. Galdieri & Figli have inaugurated the first liquefied natural gas filling station in Campania (Italy), located on the A2, Salerno-Avellino Baronissi exit.
This is the first liquefied natural gas (LNG) filling station to open in southern Italy. It is characterized by having a new system, designed and manufactured by HAM Italia, that allows two trucks to be refueled simultaneously, since the dispenser has a double hose system. In addition, the Campania service station allows LNG to be refueled by the main truck brands.
The opening ceremony was attended by Antonio Murugó, managing director of HAM, Arnau Macià, country manager of HAM, Aldo Bernardini, technical manager of HAM Italia and Riccardo Piccolo, commercial manager of HAM Italia.
HAM Italia reaffirms its commitment to the installation of new NGV natural gas vehicle supply points in the network of service stations in Italy, thus contributing to sustainable and environmentally friendly transport.
