HAM Italia inaugurates a new LNG – CNG station in Riano, Rome
HAM Group’s network of public natural gas stations continues to grow in Italy
HAM Group, through its subsidiary HAM Italia, has inaugurated a new compressed natural gas and liquefied natural gas station in Italy. It is located in Riano, Rome (42.078331, 12.546500), at kilometer 10,300 of Via Tiberina. The service station makes four CNG gas dispensers and one LNG dispenser available to all its customers.
HAM Italia has been in charge of carrying out the design of the Riano service station, as well as the installation and commissioning, also taking care of the supply of the plant, which belongs to the company Petroli 2000. Both companies had already collaborated previously in 2012 to build their first natural gas refueling service station, but given the growing demand for this type of product, they have decided to continue betting on making a liquefied natural gas and compressed natural gas gas station available to all their customers.
HAM Italia continues its expansion with new projects and facilities so that LNG and CNG in the automotive sector are strongly implemented throughout the country. These new projects consolidate the leadership position of Grupo HAM in Europe, within the LNG sector in Europe, influencing the improvement of sustainability and the environment, betting on a clean and sustainable fuel, which also allows its users to save between 30 -50% compared to the price of fuels derived from petroleum.
