Inauguration of a natural gas network in Puerto Montt
The SRP of Lipigas S.A. It has been designed by HAM Group
HAM Group has been in charge of designing and building a satellite regasification plant, which will supply the natural gas distribution network inaugurated by the company Lipigas S.A. in the town of Puerto Montt, Chile.
The PSR consists of two independent tanks of 80 cubic meters each, sufficient capacity to supply the network that in this first phase has a length of approximately 17 kilometers, allowing distribution to the sectors of the Industrial District, Mirador de la Bahía and Valle Volcanes.

In parallel, LIPIGAS is building another natural gas network in the town of Osorno that will have an extension of 14 kilometers, which will be fed from another LNG regasification plant also awarded to HAM.
These two projects, in addition to the future project for the population of Curicó, confirm LIPIGAS’ commitment to liquefied natural gas and its trust in Grupo HAM, thus contributing to improving the quality of life of people with clean and sustainable energy, which It adds to the supply of liquefied gas, in cylinders and in bulk, that LIPIGAS maintains in these cities.
HAM has collaborated in the design and manufacture of 11 facilities that LIPIGAS has built for the supply of LNG to industries such as the international Danone or Saint Gobain or companies from different sectors such as the Viña San Pedro winery or Cerámicas Santiago, among others, which have seen how HAM has helped make the fuel switching project a reality.
LIPIGAS, as a leading company in the Chilean energy sector, has trusted and continues to trust HAM as a technological partner, a relationship that began in 2013 and has allowed Chilean companies and factories to reduce their operating costs to be more competitive in the market, at the same time that have reduced greenhouse gas emissions.
At HAM we are specialists in designing, building and taking care of the maintenance of Satellite Regasification Plants (SRP), delivering natural gas to all those industries and populations that have not yet been reached by the gas pipeline network.
