LNG regasification plant. Mobile and transportable. Core LNGas Project
The HAM Group has participated in the Core LNGas HIVE project, which aims to develop an integrated, safe and efficient logistics chain for the supply of liquefied natural gas (small-scale & bunkering) as a fuel in the transport sector, especially the maritime sector, in the Iberian Peninsula.
HAM has designed, developed and commissioned a mobile and transportable unit that supplies LNG to various ports in Spain, feeding an electric generator that provides electrical energy to ships while they are docked. The mobile and transportable unit integrates the LNG storage, gasification and regulation facility inside a 40-foot sea container.

Regasification plant to protect the environment
With the development of these mobile and transportable SRPs, ports are able to reduce atmospheric emissions from ships, ensuring sustainable traffic. The mobile unit reduces emissions from ships by self-generating electricity and by taking advantage of the benefits of LNG, which costs less than other fuels.
Natural gas, fuel for port machinery
Grupo HAM ha participado también en la tThe HAM Group has also participated in the conversion of an originally diesel-powered Straddle Carrier to natural gas at the Port of Barcelona, with the aim of reducing emissions. An LNG tank and a piping system was installed to feed the converted engine with LNG provided by Liquid Natural Gaz and transported in our mobile units Vakuum.

Bio LNG compatible tank
The system is 100% compatible with the use of renewable gases, meaning that LNG can be replaced by Bio LNG, characterised by its negative carbon footprint that makes it a genuine environmentally-friendly alternative in the energy transition.
